Fotobook “IDENTIDAD”

During 2021 and 2022, I developed this photographic project featuring portraits of the traditional dance group, Grupo Provincial de Danzas de Palencia, details of traditional costumes, and still lifes of instruments and accessories.

This is not a documentary project, but rather an interpretation of traditional clothing, created with the guidance of Javier Revilla (Specialist in Traditional Studies / University of Valladolid and director of the group).

My intention has been to highlight and celebrate our tradition and folklore by looking back at the past through a contemporary perspective.
